Pearl Easton

Pearl Easton of Toyes Hill died December 19, 2000, at the Woodland Villa Nursing Home in Long Sault. She was 92.

Mrs. Easton was born May 28, 1908, in Calabogie to late Isaac Wilson and the late Margaret Wilson (nee Hunter).

She was predeceased by her husband, Dick Easton, whom she married June 11, 1932, in Calabogie.

Mrs. Easton was born and raised in the Calabogie area. After she and Mr. Easton were married, they moved to Prescott where they resided for a few years. Then they moved to Morrisburg and Iroquois where they stayed for short periods of time before finally settling in Toyes Hill.

She was a housewife and enjoyed quilting, knitting, needlepoint, crocheting and reading.

Mrs. Easton is survived by son Richard (Von Barkley) of Toyes Hill, brother Bill (Doris) of Massena, New York, and sisters Verna McNee of Renfrew, Sadie Able of Renfrew, Emily Brydges of Renfrew and Jean McLean of Massena, New York.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sister Evelyn Wilson.

Funeral services were held at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home in Williamsburg on December 22 and were officiated by Marcel Charette.

Spring internment will take place at Sprucehaven Cemetery in Brinston.

Donations to Winchester District Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Fund would be appreciated by the family.
