DESCHAMPS, DAN–
The family announced with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, May 8, 2003 at the age of 56 years. Son of the late Alex Deschamps and of the late Gertrude Deschamps(nee Savage). Beloved husband of Madeleine Deschamps (nee Rancourt) of Wahnapitae. Loving father of Alex (wife Nikki) and Paula Frauts (husband Rod) both of Wahnapitae and Wendy Deschamps of Sudbury. Dear brother of Shirley Ransom (late Chuck) of Carling Bay, Russell (wife Gloria), Ronnie and Gloria Abar (Frank) all of Parry Sound, Betty Little (Graham) of Keswick and Gerry of Sudbury. Predeceased by his sisters, Lois Christiensen (late Henning), Denis and Jeannie. Sadly missed and loving remembered by his 4 grandchildren, Jake, Scott, Amanda and Randy. Mr. Deschamps was retired due to his disability. Dan was a Kidney Transplant Recipient for 34 years, making him the longest surviving kidney transplant patient in Northern Ontario. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Friday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Co-Operative Funeral Home, Sudbury. Donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
