Peacefully, at the Maple View Lodge, Athens on Monday, April 23, 2007, Robina Gamble of Soperton, in her 93rd year. Widow of William(Bill) Howard. Dear mother of Nancy(Stan) Dobson of B.C. Predeceased by son Garry. Dear sister of Etheleen Tye of Gananoque. Predeceased by sister Gertrude Murphy. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Leigh(Terri) Howard of Delta, Laura Howard of Ottawa, Susan (Eric) Abboud of Toronto, Shawn(Gina) Howard of Soperton as well as great-grandchildren Emily and Tyler, Lucas and Cleo. Cherished by daughters-in-law Ruth Howard and Kitty Kingsley. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in Chapel on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Inurnment Oakleaf Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Maple View Lodge, Athens or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
