BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENT
YOUNG- Here I am Jason Gordon Douglas. I was born 6 weeks early at the Ottawa General. I weighed 2250 grams and 46.5 cm long. I was born July 24 but Mom and Dad didn’t get to bring me home until Aug. 11 and I weight 2360 grams that day. My big sister Amanda really loves me, so I think I will stay with these nice people. Mom and I want to thank the ambulance drivers and Dr. Adamson who took us to the General. We want to thank Drs. Cormier and Adams at the General and all the nurses on the floor and the nursery who took such good care of us both. Although I had a rough time getting here, I’m glad I’m here and Mom is too!
