Massena Couple Wed Half Century
MASSENA- Mr. and Mrs. Frank Alguire, long time residents of Massena, celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at an open house at the home of their son, Max Alguire, 261. N. Main St.
Frank Alguire and Daisy M. Campbell were married July 26, 1909, in Osnabruck Center, Ont. by Rev. E.A. Cameron, pastor at the Baptist Church there. He was born in Osnabruck Center, son of William and Minerva, but has spent most of his life in Massena. He is a former hotel and restaurant man. Mrs. Alguire was daughter of Charles and Marion Valiance Campbell of Louisville.
They have two daughters, Miss Marion Alguire of Syracuse and Mrs. Dominick Spagnois(?) of Massena; one son, Max Alguire, Massena; five granchildren.
